Not Dead Yet? exists to create ambitious multidisciplinary artistic work that explores, articulates and amplifies the experience of people living with incurable cancer
We aim to provide creative opportunities, paid artistic collaboration, and participatory spaces for people directly affected by incurable cancer — including those living with a diagnosis, carers, loved ones and creative practitioners with lived experience.
We work in partnership with health, community, cultural and academic organisations to maximise the reach, quality and community impact of our activities, fostering greater understanding, representation and dialogue around the lived realities of incurable cancer.
We are committed to reducing barriers to participation and creating flexible, accessible ways for people to engage in creative and cultural life.
Not Dead Yet? is currently establishing as a Community Interest Company (CIC), and we're seeking two Founding Directors to join our Board.
Alongside Board recruitment, we're also running a crowdfunding campaign to help establish the CIC and support the next phase of the project. Whether through joining the Board, supporting the campaign or sharing this opportunity with your network, there are many ways to become part of the journey.
Director - Governance and Company Administration
To ensure strong governance, legal and regulatory compliance, and effective board processes within a nascent CIC.
We're looking for someone with experience in governance, company administration, charity or CIC governance, organisational leadership or a related field to help shape the governance and strategic direction of the organisation during this exciting stage of development.
The person appointed to this role will work closely with the Chair and fellow Directors to establish robust governance, ensure regulatory compliance and help create a resilient organisation with community benefit at its heart.
This is a voluntary, unpaid Founding Director position during the establishment of the CIC. Reasonable expenses will be reimbursed subject to successful funding bids.
Director - Finance and Regulatory Compliance
To provide strategic financial oversight, ensuring a nascent CIC remains financially sustainable, compliant and accountable.
We're looking for someone with expertise in finance, accounting, governance or regulatory compliance who would like to help shape the organisation's financial sustainability and governance as a founding Board member.
The person appointed to this role will work closely with the Chair and fellow Directors to establish robust governance, ensure regulatory compliance and help create a resilient organisation with community benefit at its heart.
This is a voluntary, unpaid governance position during the establishment of the CIC. Reasonable expenses will be reimbursed subject to successful funding bids.
